It's now been two weeks since I was asked to make my own Social Networking site and decided to build one for the digiscrapping community.
I consider myself a creative person. I love making things, art, stories, websites, you name it. Anything that lets me use my imagination. While I have little experience digiscrapping myself, the concept appeals to me on so many different levels. To be able to create pages and display pictures using a virtually unlimited amount of materials is just amazing. When I was tied to the limits of strictly scrapbooking with papers and ribbons and glue... I felt let down. It was so easy to make a mistake and ruin your supplies. And the things you bought to use wouldn't necessarily be just what you wanted. But digiscrapping changed all the rules.
I'd like to thank my friend Vicki, who's infected me with her enthusiasm for digiscrapping. She is quite the talented designer these days. You'll notice I used a few of her papers and elements when designing the graphics I wanted for the current homepage for Digiscrapspace.com. Her designs are available for sale at oScraps.com, along with a number of other talented designers who have joined the oScraps team.
